Quirky Cat

Speaking of, warnings: there's a suicide in this issue. It's borderline graphic; there's no doubt about what happened or what the outcome is. They don't glamorize suicide, which is a huge relief (been seeing a little too much of that lately). You can see both appearances of this scene as they lead up to it, so it can be skipped. Especially the second appearance - just don't read the last story included.
This was an interesting, if a bit heavy issue. I think they really needed to tell this side of things, even if it was a bit confusing at first. I also think the confusion was intentional.
I love that the same story was told from two different perspectives. It really added to the impact. And admittedly it dad answer some of the questions I had. I also love that the storytelling style changed, based on who was 'telling' the story.
Speaking of, oh my god. The cameo halfway through both stories? I can see why that was a breaking point. Even if that character wasn't supporting what was going on, their presence certainly lends credibility to the movement. Yikes.
Can't wait for the next issue!
