I honestly wasn’t expecting Batgirl’s plot to tie in with another event that is happening in DC, but I guess I should have seen it coming. Especially since that event brought her brother into the mix (check out the Bat Who Laughs if you want to understand more about that).
I like that this issue was all about trust and betrayal, and how far those emotions can go. Barbara was understandably extremely conflicted during this issue, and I don’t think any of us can blame her for it.
I was surprised by how pleased I was with one character I hadn’t been liking lately (we’re not meant to like him, so it’s okay) when he threatened violence. I know that we were likely meant to feel that way, but still.
