I don't know why I didn't see it coming, but I was surprised to see the Champions get pulled into the War of the Realms plot. Though in retrospect, it makes total sense.
This was an intense issue, but I mean that in the best of ways. It resolved a lot of running conflicts for our young heroes. So in a lot of ways this issue was exactly what they needed. I hope the next issue will continue this, but I can also see them going back to their own plot from here.
