As for the main plot...yikes. Miles picked a surprising fight. But in the end, that wasn't even the biggest focus now, was it. The conclusion is a bone-chilling one - the sort that all heroes hope to avoid (well, maybe not all of them, but people who walk the same path as Miles at any rate).
