Lady Serena Merryweather is a widow with no qualms about taking a lover…even if he’s already married. Unfortunately, Lady Annette Wynthmore is not your typical wife. She refuses to sit by while Lady Serena has her way with her new husband, Treymont Hunt Lord of Wynthmore. While leaving their home Serena encounters Alistair Carstairs, Lord of Pembroke. This is where it gets weird because their brief interaction spurs Lady Serena to be creative with inanimate objects when she gets home. The Wynthmores demonstrate their passion. Alistair becomes convinced he must have Lady Serena for his wife, and Lady Serena enlists the aid of Lady Annette with some hands-on tutelage. I couldn't understand any of the interactions among the characters or make sense of the author's direction. I finally gave up and decided this book was just about sex and that freed me to stop spinning my wheels trying to understand this book.
It’s not for me, but I’m sure some readers would find it funny and stimulating.
