No that's probably not fair. I was expecting something very dark twisted and wicked. That was not really this book. There's a lot of talk of whores. (As in that's the actual language.) It's rather crass and vulgar and it just didn't grab me. Borderline erotica because while the scenes were explicit they really didn't have any feeling. There was a real detachment to it.
The idea of Cinderella being a witch and best of friends with her stepmother and stepsisters was intriguing and pretty original but it got lost in between them running a brothel.
I persisted reading but it just isn't my thing.
