A hilarious short story involving academia, thespians and shenanigans. Caught In the Act describes the escapades of an overworked university don who takes a hobby to help relax and forget his academic woes. He joins a local amateur dramatics group with the intention of serious acting but taking the lead role in 'A Inspector Calls' leads to all manner of disasters. Eventually the 'Inspector' falls - into the world of oversexed sirens, a lisping homosexual, drunken brawls and police callouts! Caught In the Act is the second in a series of "Caught" short stories and develops some of the main characters. Possibly built on genuine events and moulded from real characters, the 'Caught' stories are embellished with a 'Moretti' magic that disguises their true origins and personas whilst keeping them tangible and side-splittingly believable. Are they true stories? Are the characters real? You will have to decide for yourself as you read this entertaining yarn, and the other stories that follow.
