This little monkey is small enough to pop in your pocket, a perfect size for little kids, and a super mascot for big kids! If you want to make your own pocket pal, this is a great stash-busting knitting pattern, and is quick to knit. The monkey uses only about 10g of dark brown yarn, and about 5g of light brown. The monkey is knitted flat on straight 4mm knitting needles, apart from the i-cord arms, legs and tail for which you need two double pointed needles. The eyes are small black beads, but you could use toy safety eyes, or some wool to embroider the eyes if you prefer. To make your monkey, you will need to know how to knit, purl, cast on and off, and make increases and decreases (the pattern includes a guide to abbreviations), knit i-cord and sewing seams. The pattern also includes step by step construction details, and written row by row so it is easier to follow.
