Introduction

Do you ever wonder what the United States would be like today if Rosa Parks had moved back on the Bus? Being a member of the NAACP, she just could not take discrimination anymore That was the last straw that ended segregation. (however she took this action on her own).

Local leaders asked an unknown Pastor from Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to come and support them in creating the Montgomery Improvement Association (MIA). They Boycotted the Transit System for 381 days and won the Court battle that ended segregation in public transportation. That incident sparked the Civil Rights Movement that led the freedom all Americans enjoy today.
