In Pentworth, West Sussex, supplies of electricity, gas, and water are mysteriously diminishing. Then, suddenly, a force field surrounds Pentworth, through which no-one can pass, and the population is completely cut off from the outside world. The centre of the force field is Pentworth Lake, where locals suspect that a UFO has landed.
