In 1977 Leicestershire County Council commissioned Archaeologist Peter Corbett to identify the Nobles and Knights that had fought at the Battle of Bosworth. He identified a total, counting both sides, of 176. The three year academic research of this amazing book has more than doubled that figure, taking the number to an astounding 403. (5% of the individual profiles come with the coat of arms of the individual, his home location, dates of birth and death, who they fought for, their role within their family tree and numerous other "facts and legends" associated with the individual, if they exist).
