Superman: Shadow of Apokolips is based on Superman: The Animated Series. Darkseid, evil ruler of planet Apokolips, has recruited Lex Luthor, Metropolis businessman, to aid him in his quest to destroy Superman and control the world. Darkseid provides Luthor with advanced weaponry, enabling him to create an army of Interbots. Villains like Metallo, Parasite, and Livewire will further the mayhem. The use of the cartoon license gives the game a distinct look that matches the TV series. Voice acting is provided by the original cast of the show.
