This is a story about a little boy growing up in the sixties, and living a life of child abuse. He struggles to identify who he is when he gets older, and the abuse follows him into his early teens, and then into his adult life. As a little boy his biggest fear and regret will be that of betraying his uncle at the age of eight. Not only had he betrayed that sworn secret his uncle made him swear to, but he also felt that he betrayed his mother by sending her only flesh and blood away from her. What would unravel would be to see the makings of a monster, as no child was safe from this man. This little boy with his courage to betray his uncle led the police on a search to discover more families children were at risk and were abused by him. Would this ever be the end of his shadows? Follow him on his journey, discover each story as it unfolds. A child is free of judgement, as we are the adults and should protect them. This story is not so unlike a lot of stories from the sixties, as well as stories of today.
