Alongside the book, the free CD-ROM contains many additional tools needed to use the Internet. Included is free access to Virgin's Internet service provider, Virgin Net, as well as Cybersitter, used by parents to filter undesirable images they do not want their children to see. Also included is IE5 and web links to all the sites discussed in the book.
