Details of 40 experimental and non-experimental studies, selected from all modules, are provided. These summaries of actual research provide the foundation on which practical work can be built. Understanding is developed via a series of questions about the study focusing on design, procedure and analysis of data. Information on similar research and further reading is provided before students are led on to the skeleton of a study which they can then develop into a practical to carry out themselves. The pack also offers guidance to syllabus and assessment requirements, including handout material on the Research Methods module and how to write up practical reports.
