Stan is full of things that I love: bickering, misunderstandings, and the 90s! It's right before Christmas and Bel's family has decided to head to Onslow for the Summer. She just wants to relax and avoid the sun. Meanwhile, Stan who works at the campground is hoping for the weekend off, but Bel unintentionally convinces her parents and his to go away for the weekend, leaving Stan to run things on his own. Stan's not happy and manages to rope Bel into working with him for free! Now it's a weekend of them trying to one-up the others misery, and falling in love, obviously.

I adored Stan; it was so fun! I loved the little war between Bel and Stan! It's certainly a misery loves company kind of deal, but light-hearted. Feelings have to arise when they set the war aside, but Bel pulls away because she thinks Stan is still with Ellie. She has been away for two years, so it's understandable misunderstanding. Of course, things happen, push them together, and then Stan and Bel can spend a wonderful Summer together without the sabotage!
