I expected something more substantial. This was very "feminism light" and cishet/gender binary focused. There were MANY places where she makes great points that could embrace LGBTQ folks, but *every*single*time* she neglected to extend her language to cover the community. It ended up feeling exclusive. I also didn't click with the evangelical tone and toward the end, overly emotive Christianese. By the last two chapters, I couldn't wait for it to end.
