Women's Issues are those with special relevance to women's lives: the history and contributions of women as a group and as individuals; women's experiences with government, with the medical, scientific, and educational establishments, and with cultural institutions such as the media; women's economic position, physical aspects of women's experience (such as childbirth, sexuality, and life-cycle changes) and women's role in family life; crimes with predominantly female victims, such as rape and domestic violence; and movements such as feminism_that seek to change women's lives.
