An exciting and fun story about Blanco Polo, the great-nephew of Marco Polo, starts with his journey from Venice to Spain to build flying machines with the villainous Count Maleficio. Along the way Blanco meets Eva, accompanied by her guardian angels, also bound for Spain for an arranged marriage to a man old enough to be her grandfather. The pair become friends and Blanco's dream of building and piloting a flying machine are finally within his grasp. But when Count Maleficio reveals his true intentions for the flying machine, Blanco and Eva have to flee, with the help of the angels.
