I needed this book so much! As a single, working mom there was so much I could
relate to as I raise my kids. The words of wisdom Marie learned from her own
mother Olive is very similar of that I've learned from my own mom. The book was full
of humor, heartbreak and understanding of life's lessons. I read a borrowed copy, but I liked
it so much I went out and bought my own copy so I could underline things I wanted to remember
and make notes for myself. Any working mom that is dealing with the guilt and strain of having to try and do it all, needs to read this memoir.
