As with his earlier volume "Cross Cultural Dialogues", the author has once again tried to show us how easy it is to go far afield in our attempts to understand, interact and work successfully with people different from ourselves this time in three Western European nations. The book focuses our attention on both the explicit and the less recognized differences between Americans and people from England, France and Germany. In introducing the concept of analyzing dialogues between representatives of different cultures in his earlier book, the author said "...when we are merely being ourselves, acting according to our deepest instincts, we reveal fundamental differences in what we all tend to think of as normal behaviour".
