In 1993, a team of photojournalists set out to portray average families in each of 30 countries around the world. From Bhutan to Bosnia, from Mongolia to Mali, and from the United States to Uzbekistan, each photographer moved in with a crefully-chosen family for a short period and got to know them before taking a portrait of them outside their house, surrounded by all their possessions. This postcard book brings together these global family portraits.
