This is an account of a group of Australian soldiers' experiences in Vietnam. It is based on oral histories and interviews with about 15 members of the last Australian rifle company to serve in the Vietnam War. It covers their whole military career from their training, deployment and experiences in battle to their return in Australia. Finally, it records their experiences on returning to Vietnam 20 years later when they visited their area of operations and met some of their former adversaries.
