For the past 30 years Jonathan Miller has been taking photographs of unusual and often overlooked things in the course of his travels and everyday life which somehow caught his eye and which he felt an irresistible urge to record and collect. Armed with only a cheap automatic camera, Miller sought to read and record these snapshots of seemingly bizarre 'bits and pieces'. The result is a unique, highly individual collection of pictures accompanied by Miller's own notebook writings. The images and text fall in no particular order or structure. Their interest lies not in being intellectual or arty. But they represent an opportunity to see things which may ordinarily escape our attention in a new intriguing way and above all allow us an unprecented insight into one of the most fascinating minds of our time. - Never-before-seen photographs and writings of one of our most fascinating cultural thinkers - Highly original, fascinating collection of photographs - Intriguing text gives insight into an extraordinary mind
