The aim of the activities in this pack is to introduce pupils both to important aspects of the Logo computer language and to a range of mathematical ideas. These two objectives are often very closely linked, so that, for example, the idea of variable in Logo is closely related to a number of algebraic ideas. Similarly, the idea of turtle turn is closely related to the idea of angle. The pack consists of 58 photocopiable pupils' worksheets, a LogoPack map, a glossary of Logo commands and a teacher's guide. It has been written for the BBC Micro, with additional commands for the RM Nimbus, where necessary.
