In this book, the author talks about her life and how she sought to gain her mother's love, and failed. It tells of emotional and other kinds of abuse and the terrible impact that can have on a person's life. Linda was prompted to write this book when her efforts to register the Enduring Power of Attorney, given to her by her mother in 2000, met a brick wall. Why? Because Social Services and her mother's solicitor refused to listen to what Linda was saying, and believed other people's lies instead. The story begins when Linda's mother started to lose her mind. Linda had to decide whether to register the Power of Attorney she'd been given back in 2000. In the end that decision was taken out of her hands. Every word is true.
