Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 for Xbox is the latest version in the critically acclaimed action sports game series, now for the Xbox. The large, populated environments where players can skate through and perform tricks in urban streets filled with pedestrians, traffic, and natural disasters return to the game as do familiar skate parks like Skater's Island in Middletown, Rhode Island, Rio de Janeiro, Los Angeles, Canada and Tokyo. Dynamic effects like changing weather conditions also come into play, and the exclusive Xbox level will spice up the action too. Players will choose from the same lineup of pro skateboarders, plus two new riders. Gamers will also be able to create their own skateboarder by customizing different options like hair, armbands, and glasses in the Create-A-Skater mode, which also gives players the choice to skate as a male, female, or kid skater.
