Almost matched started out rather interesting. I thought it was rather funny the way that Colin and Natalie met. I give Natalie props because that were to happen to me, I would be totally mortified and probably would not show up for that meeting knowing that the source of my embarrassment would be present.
It was easy to relate to Natalie and her problems when it came to finding the right guy. What’s ironic about her situation though is the she is the co-owner of a successful matchmaking company, but she was unable to find her perfect match.
What I loved most about this story is the interaction between Natalie and her friends. The bond that existed between these friends appears strong. It’s obvious they care about each other and they had each other’s backs.
I also loved the author’s writing style as it made me feel as if I was on the sidelines looking in.
My only problem with the story is that the romance between Natalie and Collin felt a bit stilted. There were times it was bit boring and I felt it was not going anywhere. It’s clear that Collin had a secret and his failure to reveal to Natalie was having a negative impact on their relationship.
In spite of this I found Almost Matched somewhat enjoyable and I can’t wait to start book two as I would love to know what’s going to happen next.
