A look at a second generation german immigrant living in San Francisco, who has recently inherited his Grandmother's wealth. He has always been fascinated with a Buddhist author by the name of Fox, and during a blackout day, he solved a mystery, or thinks he did. All he wants to do is celebrate his birthday with Bell. But life keeps throwing him lemons.
But the day we see Grax Turner, is no ordinary day, aside from all the happen-chance. It seems that as he learns more of the day he can't remember, things are looking up. But then it all goes sour, and his mood dives once again.
