Haikus have a basic structure. Each haiku is different and unique. Each also has its own form. This collection of haikus uses a classic form of Japanese poetry to demonstrate the situation experienced by a particular segment of society, Transmen. They blend in with society like any person. The unknown gentleman or boy near you may be a transman. Most times you do not know because they are the same as every other male around you . . . and yet, so different. Transmen can be homosexual. They can be heterosexual. They can be bisexual. Their sexual preference is irrelevant to their masculinity, the same as every male you know. Each haiku raises consideration. The author hopes this collection inspires the reader to wonder.
