Munich architect Thomas Herzog is a pioneer of ecological and energy-conscious building and an innovator of building design. For Herzog the use of solar energy is a design principle, which stimulates him to develop innovative architectural forms. This catalogue presents in detail a selection of the architect's most important projects. Also included is a selection of essays by leading experts introducing various aspects of Herzog's work, and a comprehensive overview of projects of the office "Herzog+Partner". Around 20 of the most important projects are shown here with sketches, plans and models, as well as photographs.
