A commemoration of the life and work of the food campaigner Caroline Walker, who died in 1988. She was responsible for exposing the contamination and manipulation of the public diet by the food manufacturing industry and the government. With her husband, the author of this biography, she wrote "The Food Scandal". The book caused a storm of litigation, but led to more public awareness of additives in food. Geoffrey Cannon has also written "Dieting Makes You Fat" and "The Politics of Food".
