They vary widely in terms of class, race and social background, while painting a realistic picture of the life experiences of people who have grown up in a lesbian/gay family environment, and offering an evaluation of the positive and negative aspects of this upbringing. The text includes an interview with Nicholas Rea, MP, who was notorious and vilified for his support of lesbians and gays during the Clause 28 debate.
