Worcester, Droitwich, Pershore, Upton-upon-Severn and Tenbury Wells were just some of the areas worst affected. Most people had never seen anything like the floods of June and July. Worcestershire is used to winter floods, but a summer deluge is almost unheard of. The effects are still being felt.
