I grew up in the Midwest, raised in a Pentecostal church. I accepted Christianity as correct until I became a teenager and started thinking for myself. Since then, I've constantly butted heads with my family over religion. I was content to think of myself as merely an atheist until recently, when my long-standing fascination with Marilyn Manson led me to an occult organization called the Temple of Set, where I became a member. I learned a lot about myself and the Left Hand Path - the idea that I must forge my own path in life - during my time in the Temple but decided to leave because I wanted to be on my own. Although I'm no longer a member of the Temple, I want to continue to explore the LHP. Forbidden Fruit provides me with an opportunity to do so. Others may do with it as they see fit. It's no skin off my apple.
