The Tower of Babel is well known and unknown. While many try to tell you that it was located in Babylon, there is no evidence that it was there. The more likely place was in Baalbek, Lebanon. The reason God destroyed it was not that it was too high or that people were working together. The reason was that a huge war had begun. Its destruction marked a horrible incident that destroyed over 1/3 of the population and thrust the remainder back to the Stone Age. This is that story.
