The wide selection of clothes and ideas range from "designer" cardigans, a patchwork jacket and a variety of hats to a teddy-style hotwater-bottle cover, cushion covers and a bath mat. Techniques are explained and advice is given on using different weights and types of yarns as well as on sizing and after care. The author runs her own knitwear business and designs and sells both hand-knitted garments and hand-knitting kits. Previous books include "Disney Knits" and "The Encyclopaedia of Knitting Techniques".

So you've done some projects and there's wool left. This is the book for you. Allows you to use up that pesky leftovers in interesting and varied ways. There's also some projects like the Silk Scarf and Cashmere Cravat that allow you to buy one or two of the very expensive yarns and get away with knitting something in them! Projects vary from Hanger Covers to Jumpers and they all look good. Some are a little dated but the book was published in 1988. Mostly though they are updatable.
