This book spent a lot of time on family - as she and her first husband divorce, she finds love again and remarries, children are ever-present, jobs must get juggled between spouses...there's a lot going on at any given time. Occasionally, it's a lot to try and keep up with (I can only imagine what it would have been like in the middle of it all!), but it is fascinating nonetheless.
