For the 30th anniversary of "Dr Who" in 1993, the BBC planned a feature-length film, "The Dark Dimension", starring all seven of the "Doctors" (using look-alikes for those who have died) and a new crop of villains played by Tom Waites, k.d. lang and David Bowie. Three weeks into the filming the project was cancelled.
