This knitting guide has a wide range of designs and patterns for all occasions and for every member of the family, and is designed for all levels of skill. Emphasizing cotton's natural and appealing characteristics, there are glamorous tops for evening wear, casual suntops, sporty sweaters, patterns for a toddler's romper suit and a sweater for an eight year old. All garments are fully illustrated in colour and where necessary, the patterns are accompanied by full-colour graphs of the motif or design. The knitting instructions are supplemented by diagrams showing the structure of the garment and the introduction contains explanations of the techniques involved - such as fairisle, intarsia, Swiss darning and turning, as well as advice on making up the finished garments. There are also hints on looking after the completed design. The authors have also written "Disney Knits" and "Knitting with Mohair".
