This is an account by FBI Special Agent Pistone who, posing as jewel thief Donnie Brasco, penetrated to the heart of "The Mob" and for 6 years posed as an accomplice in order to expose members of the Mafia. When the operation ended, his testimony was used to convict over 100 members. He emerged with testimony that was used in such cases as "The Pizza Connection" and "The Mob Commission". Pistone still has a $500,000 contract on his life for the havoc he caused.
