Odds are you’ve probably seen work by Loryn Brantz floating around the internet before – her artwork, while simple, is very iconic and easy to recognize. It’s also pretty popular on facebook (at least in my circle of friends and groups).
Lady Stuff compiles a decent chunk of her work in one easy to find place. Some of the comics have already gone viral online, so if you’re looking for 100% new content, this isn’t it. Unsurprisingly the focus of this collection of works can be identified by the title: lady stuff. Most of the comics revolve around dating, make up, or otherwise “woman focused” jokes. Pretty much all of the comics have a healthy dose of irony or satire (depending on what is called for at the moment) and the title shouldn’t be taken seriously (as in, these secrets aren’t really secrets, or guaranteed to be accurate facts in any way, shape, or form).
Lady Stuff was pretty funny and enjoyable, but I also don’t think it’s a book I would have pre-ordered or rushed out to buy on release day. It’d make a perfect gift for somebody though, so keep that in mind come holiday/birthday shopping time!
