Novell Directory Services (NDS; formerly NetWare Directory Services) is the key to configuring both local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs). NDS enables efficient network operations in simple and complex networks. Originally for NetWare only, NDS is now available for NT Server (whose domain-based structure currently lacks directory services) and for Unix.
