The three essays are written by well known writer and journalist Judy Coburn, John Clarke art historian, and artist Susan Hall. Coburn's essay is about the cultural history of Point Reyes, Clarke discusses the art historical aspects of Hall's work and Susan Hall writes about her relationship to the landscape paintings in the book.
