Eddie Glenn is an average guy. He is 30, has a wife, Nancy, and lives in suburbia. He has walked on the abandoned construction road behind their street for years, but when he stumbles a little further than normal, he finds himself in a strange, unsettling landscape where the sun misplaces shadows, colors look different, and sound is...off.

Dissonance...

He sees the sign. END LIFE? He questions. Eddie believes the sign has been left as a warning, but did life really end beyond the sign?

Experiments...

Eddie Glenn tests this with small animals. He is horrified to learn it's true: beyond the sign is "End Life". But why?

It has reach, and it reaches for him...

When Eddie discovers an abusive neighbor, a man whom he considered a friend, he begins to feel the gravitational pull of the spot beyond the sign. He has no idea what happens to living things that go beyond the sign, into the Great Gulf, but with a target that he considers morally valueless, Eddie Glenn means to find out.
