This book's text is by Susanne Gaensheimer and Molly Nesbitt. The Foreword is by Helmut Friedel and Suzanne Page. This is the first wide-ranging publication dealing with the sculptural installations, film projections, neon texts and sound productions of the Welsh artist Cerith Wyn Evans (Llanelli, 1958). Evans worked as assistant to the filmmaker Derek Jarman, concentrating in the 1980s on short experimental films. In the 1990s, he began with installations exploring the phenomenology of language, time and perception. He now includes a diverse array of materials including fireworks, neon, texts, film, photography and sculpture. This work is available in English and German text.
