This series introduces early readers to the people who work at school and to the main events in the school year. It has two levels of text, the first is designed for new readers and the second for more advanced readers. This book is about a school's librarian at a primary school and how she works. It looks at the way the school library van is organized and how a library system works. It also suggests different ways in which books can be used. Diana Bentley, reading consultant for this series is author of "The How and Why of Readability" and "The How and Why of Cloze Procedure". She is also a consultant for Ginn Reading 360: 9-13 and is a language consultant to the ITV "Once upon a Time" programme.
