"Ay Ay, An Island Almanac" takes the 12 months of the year and divides them according to their zodiacal signs and attempts to show the plants, flowers, birds, fruits, insects, animals, celestial bodies - in fact all of the nature - that comes to the fore during those periods. There are many reminiscences and nostalgic throwbacks to the St Croix of yesteryear where the author lived. George Seaman's philosophy permeates the narrative and the reader finds himself reliving that long ago time on "Santa Cruz", sharing with him the experiences he encountered.
