Ryan is a 20 year old man who believes he has his life together: he's in college getting an English degree, planning on going back for his teaching degree, and he's in a steady relationship with his girlfriend, Keltie Colleen.
Brendon is a 19 year old boy who really needs to get his life together: he still lives with his parents, isn't any closer to finding a job, and spends more time watching Cutthroat Kitchen instead of learning how to cook himself to thrive on his own; his parents aren't getting any younger.
The two meet when Ryan puts out an ad for a roommate to help himself keep his bills in check. He doesn't, however, realize how terrible having Brendon as a roommate can be, or how exhilarating it can be.
