Students are offered regular opportunities to be creative, to read for pleasure and to develop dictionary skills. In-built revision and self-assessment inform learning and make students aware of their progress. Additionally, an activity book provides personalized ownership of work and there is a certificate of achievement for each student, designed to motivate learning. The series reflects the reduced content of the post-Dearing National Curriculum and is suitable for S1-2 in Scotland.
